Position Summary:
The Project Engineer is responsible for the project management of commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects. As a Solar Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our solar engineering team throughout the development and implementation of solar projects. Your expertise and coordination will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of solar initiatives from conception to completion. Project Engineers is expected to be a team leader, work in a collaborative, team-based environment.
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Planning and Design:
Collaborate with the solar engineering team to plan and design solar systems for various projects.
Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, including system sizing, equipment selection, and energy production estimates.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.
2. Technical Support:
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the solar engineering team during the project lifecycle.
Troubleshoot and address technical challenges related to solar energy systems.
Participate in design reviews and provide valuable insights to enhance system performance and efficiency.
3. Permitting and Compliance:
Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities for solar projects, such as TNB, ST, SEDA, and so on.
Ensure that projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
4. Procurement and Vendor Management:
Collaborate with procurement teams to source and select solar equipment and materials.
Manage relationships with vendors and contractors involved in solar project implementation.
5. Project Implementation and Monitoring:
Support the solar engineering team during the construction and installation phases of solar projects.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Conduct performance evaluations and optimization studies to improve solar system efficiency.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and compliance records.
Generate regular status reports and present project updates to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Solar Engineering, M&E Engineering, C&S Engineering or a related field.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Understanding of permitting processes and regulatory requirements for solar projects.
Prociency in Mandarin is a must to communicate with suppliers from Mainland China.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and innovative Solar Engineer to join our team. As a Solar Engineer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and cutting-edge design engineering solutions for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects. This role requires collaboration in a team-based environment to ensure the successful implementation of solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with Sales and Engineering to offer the best solutions for each project.
Prepare full proposals, including TNB Analysis, PV Layout, PVSyst, etc., based on requests from Sales and Engineering.
Create Tentative Drawings, Shop Drawings, and as-built drawings for all solar projects.
Develop Bill of Materials for all solar projects.
Coordinate with Clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with the internal Operations team during project development and implementation.
Engage with vendors and subcontractors during project development and implementation.
Assist the Engineering team in monitoring system performance.
Conduct site visits for project development, installation progress, punch-outs, etc.
Attend customer meetings and presentations during the sales cycle when required.
Perform Testing & Commissioning for all solar projects.
Set up Monitoring Systems for all solar projects.
